Our Story

We’re thrilled to share our story with you as we embark on this next adventure together—marriage!

 

Our journey began in 2012 on a high school trip to Europe with our art teacher, Mrs. Lane, where we found ourselves navigating art museums and chatting constantly on planes, trains, buses, and long walks through the various cities. What started as a shared love for art quickly blossomed into a beautiful friendship that would weather the test of time and distance.

 

For three years, we mastered the art of long-distance friendship, making time for long FaceTime calls despite our busy lives and other relationships. In 2015, we took the leap and decided to make it official, marking the start of a new chapter filled with love and adventure.

 

Since then, our lives have been a whirlwind of experiences! We’ve endured four years of long-distance love, explored many unforgettable places, and graduated from college. We’ve moved in together in Oakland, adopted two kitties, navigated the challenges of a pandemic, bought and renovated a house, started successful careers, and created countless memories along the way.

 

As we prepare to say “I do,” we’re most excited about celebrating the incredible life we’ve built together and the commitment we are making to continue building upon it, no matter what new and thrilling challenges lie ahead. 

 

But most importantly—this celebration wouldn’t be complete without you! We are so grateful for the love and support from each of you who have been a part of our journey. You’ve cheered us on, celebrated our milestones, and reminded us of the true meaning of community and togetherness.

 

So, let’s come together to celebrate not just our love, but the beautiful tapestry of relationships that have brought us to this point. We can’t wait to create even more cherished memories with all of you!
